For Middle School Audiences

A. Planet Earth or Planet Plastic?
1.  A one-and-a-half-hour multi-media presentation for middle school learners.
2. Extended Learning Opportunity:
        1. After learning about the crisis, participants will be invited to write a letter about what they want to change about. These letters can be bundled and sent to government and advocate groups that stand for solutions to the plastics crisis.
        2. After learning about the history of plastics, participants will be invited to work in a group to think of alternatives to single-use plastics and our toxic dependence on plastics today. Each team will make a Power Point Presentation and/or poster to be displayed on site at their schools or local City Hall.
        3. Participants will be given a tool-kit which will provide them a choice of opportunites to take action and make a difference in their home, school, community, and planet.

B. The ABC's of Recycling

1. A one-and-a-half-hour multi-media presentation for middle school learners.
